Parent/Caregiver Support

Before becoming a psychotherapist, I nurtured children in a variety of settings for over a decade. I have also been the Family and Staff Counselor for a local Montessori school for the past four years. In my work with parents and caregivers I bring to bear a wealth of knowledge on the unique challenges and joys that come with nurturing children in an array of developmental stages, life backgrounds, disabilities and/or developmental delays, and temperaments.

I also bring the full force of my compassion for and understanding of the difficulties of being a caregiver in a society that doesn’t properly support families and children. I have a special place in my heart for “nontraditional” families whether they be polyamorous, queer, separated/divorced, or beyond! There is no judgement here, only a deep desire to support your journey in caring better for the little ones in your life!
